On Thursday a study by ISIS the US based Institute for Science and International Security reported, “Israel developed its first nuclear weapon shortly before the 1967 Six Day War” corroborating an LBJ ‘VanunuLeak’ to this American in 2005.

David Albright is a Physicist and President of the non-profit Institute for Science and International Security/ISIS. On 19 November 2015, he confirmed “Israel developed its first nuclear weapon shortly before the 1967 Six Day War”
Albright thus reinforced a 2005 VanunuLeak to this American which led to my researching and asserting that LBJ failed to support the troops aboard the USS LIBERTY before, during and after Israel’s June 8th attack not just because he “didn’t want to embarrass an ally” but because he was well aware that Israel was a major nuclear power!
Albright also noted Israel’s Nuclear Whistle Blower Mordechai Vanunu in his ISIS comprehensive study on the worldwide inventory of plutonium.
Albright wrote “the revelations of Mordechai Vanunu in 1986…His revelations implied that Israel has built more advanced nuclear weapons, in particular miniaturized warheads, boosted-fission weapons, and thermonuclear weapons.”
Vanunu told this American that when he realized Israel had begun developing thermonuclear technology he decided he must act to “avert a nuclear holocaust” by exposing top-secret locations within Israel’s WMD Facility at Dimona which he did in 1986!

In April 2015, The National Security Archive of George Washington University published documents corroborating much of what Vanunu has been saying for 30 years!
The documents detail the discovery of Israel’s nuclear deceptions, debates over Israel’s lack of candor and efforts to pressure the Israelis to answer key questions about the Dimona.
This ‘discovery,’ which came as the presidency of Dwight D. Eisenhower was drawing to a close, caused apprehension in Washington by raising concern about regional stability and nuclear proliferation, but it also produced annoyance because Israeli officials at all levels repeatedly provided less than credible answers to U.S. questions about Dimona.

This American writer began a series of interviews with Mordechai Vanunu in 2005 during my first of 8 trips to both sides of Israel’s Wall. I became a reporter because Vanunu told me:
Did you know that President Kennedy tried to stop Israel from building atomic weapons? In 1963, he forced Prime Minister Ben Guirion to admit the Dimona was not a textile plant, as the sign outside proclaimed, but a nuclear plant. The Prime Minister said, ‘The nuclear reactor is only for peace.’
When Johnson became president, he made an agreement with Israel that two senators would come every year to inspect. Before the senators would visit, the Israelis would build a wall to block the underground elevators and stairways. From 1963 to ’69, the senators came, but they never knew about the wall that hid the rest of the Dimona from them.
Nixon stopped the inspections and agreed to ignore the situation. As a result, Israel increased production. In 1986, there were over two hundred bombs. Today, they may have enough plutonium for ten bombs a year.
If the U.S. and other world powers involved in The Iran Deal do not honor their side of the pact The Iran Deal will fall apart and Iran could reinstall centrifuges within seven to eight months and build a new reactor core at Arak in about two years.
On October 13 Iranian Press TV, reported that the article 1 of the motion forbids either the production or application of nuclear arms in Iran and obliges the Iranian government to participate in international and regional efforts aimed at countering the threat of such weapons. Press TV, reported that on the basis of the article 1, Iran will pressure the international community to move forward with the nuclear disarming of Israel.
