In referring to a tweet by Rep. Ilhan Omar, Benjamin Netanyahu opined, “Take it from this Benjamin: It’s not about the Benjamins.”
“Benjamins” is slang for a $100 bill and refers to Benjamin Franklin’s image on that bill.

The article “What Happens When Americans Vote for Legislators Who Refuse to Represent Them?” by Janet McMahon in the November/December 2018 issue of Washington Report on Middle East Affairs features this image regarding the Top Ten Congressional Career Recipients and the ‘Benjamin’s’ received from Pro-Israel PAC Funds:
In response to Rep. Ilhan Omar’s ‘benjamin’ tweet in reference to Congress and Israel; Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell used part of their time at AIPAC to call out that freshman congresswoman with chutzpah!
Referring to the audacious Rep. Ilhan Omar [D-Minn.], 2018’s third top recipient of pro-Israel PAC funds on the HOUSE side, Rep. Steny Hoyer [D-Md.], admitted to the AIPAC audience on Sunday, “When someone accuses American supporters of dual loyalty I say accuse me.”
Money is the currency with the loudest voice and so Hoyer received the cheers he deserved at the annual conference of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee.
Hoyer also offered, “Let’s have debates on policy instead of impugning the loyalty of Israel’s supporters.”
Leading that policy debate is Rep. Rashida Tlaib, [D-Mich.], a Palestinian American who backs ending military assistance to Israel until the occupation of Palestine ends.
Rep. Rashida Tlaib will soon lead a lawmakers’ reality tour through the West Bank.
Rep. Hoyer has led many a congressional pack to Israel courtesy of AIPAC affiliates and this August he will lead what he expects “to be the largest delegation ever” to Israel.
Hoyer also noted, “There are 62 freshman Democrats. You hear me? 62 — not three.”
When ALL congressional representatives take a West Bank Reality Tour there could once again be a balanced USA Middle East policy which essentially ended with the 303 Committee and The Six Day War.*
On Tuesday at the AIPAC conference the number one career recipient of pro-Israel funds Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell also noted “the shared history and common values that draw America and Israel together….[and that] actions speak even louder than words. Action is what those of us in elected office need to deliver.”
*The ‘shared history and common values’ that led to the ‘special relationship’ between America and Israel can be traced back to James Jesus Angleton [chief of CIA Counterintelligence from 1954 to 1975], the 303 Committee, The Six Day War, the attack on the USS Liberty, President Lyndon Baines Johnson’s cover-up AND every president and congress since have colluded in the cover-up.
