Photo Array: Eid Mubarak from the Gaza Strip

Muslims gather to celebrate Eid al Adha in prayer at Saraya Square in Gaza City in the Israeli-embargoed Gaza Strip early Friday, on Sept. 1, 2017.
Eid al-Adha is the “Sacrifice Feast,” and is the second of two Islamic religious holidays celebrated worldwide each year. It is considered the most important in the Muslim World.
Thousands of Muslims came out to worship in the face of a brutal and oppressive embargo by the Israeli military. Despite Israel’s brutality, Palestinians continue to survive and respect their religious beliefs and demand justice.
