With gratitude to YOU for reading this Senior Non-Arab Correspondent for USA’s The Arab Daily News this post serves as my Leave of Absence Notice.
By Eileen Fleming
When my baby brother James A. Kasmir died by suicide last February, I embarked upon a mission to help end the stigma of mental illness in the FREE ebook, Family Matters: Addictions, OCD and Suicide
I further that mission in my 7th book, Baby Boomer Overuse Syndrome with a Wabi Sabi Yoga Recovery and have set the goal of completing the first draft by the first anniversary of my brother’s departure from this world.
In order to accomplish that mission by February 11, I must depart from my 11-year online mission raising awareness of the Christian Exodus from the Holy Land, Mordechai Vanunu’s human rights struggle and USA policies which collude in Israel’s occupation of Palestine and nuclear deceptions.
I depart with GRATITUDE that those missions have been enshrined for History’s Sake HERE
I am grateful that my last book, Heroes, Muses and the Saga of Mordechai Vanunu succinctly encapsulates five books on those topics written from my spiritually driven political point of view.
Experience has always been my quickest teacher and experiences of deep pain, loss and senseless tragedy has taught me the truth in what David Steindal-Rast said so eloquently:
It’s not happiness that makes us grateful, it’s gratefulness that makes us happy
Thus I happily depart from my duties as Senior Non-Arab Correspondent for USA’s The Arab Daily News deeply GRATEFUL for the three years of opportunities it provided to exercise my freedom of conscience and express my dissent from USA policies which endanger this homeland and oppress multitudes of others- especially in the Holy Land.
With gratitude but also without a clue of when or even if I will return to this post, I depart with over flowing GRATITUDE that everything this grateful American and global citizen has ever written for The Arab Daily News over the last three years has been enshrined for History’s Sake HERE.
For the sake of history and your happiness, please view this TED Talk with David Steindal-Rast, an interfaith scholar who understands happiness is born from gratitude and when we cultivate gratitude for all things- no matter how much we want to change them- our world does indeed change and when enough of us unite in gratitude the real change will come by way of a REVOLUTION of heart and mind:

All the best to you Eileen, until you are back, stronger and wiser than ever, with a new book present. Send you luck from my Horseshoe…
