Winter weather brings harsh conditions for the Palestinian victims of Israeli war crimes and the delayed process of providing relief and reconstruction for civilian residents of the Gaza Strip including in Shujaiyya, one of the targets of Israeli military terrorism this past summer

The Palestinians in the Gaza Strip continue to face hardships as the weather worsens. With no shelter from the expected cold, and the reconstruction of their homes delayed by Israeli terrorism and blockades, Palestinians fear a difficult Winter.
Below are photos of life in Shujaiyya in the Gaza Strip, one of the cities targeted in the 51-day-long Israeli military terrorism assault this past summer. More than 2,200 Palestinians were killed including more than 2,000 civilians. More than 500 Palestinian children and teenagers were also murdered by Israeli soldiers.
Despite the brutality, Palestinians continue to find ways to survive, remembering the terrorism of Israel’s soldiers and the intentional destruction of their civilian homes that Amnesty International has decried as an unprecedented war crime by a government.
The biggest victims of the brutality and uncertainty are Palestinian children.
