On Tuesday President Trump distressed the World but pleased Prime Minister Netanyahu by withdrawing the United States from the Iran nuclear deal, which could lead to Iran restarting its suspended nuclear activities.
Last week the Trump administration reversed another U.S. policy by adopting Israel’s stance in advance of the 2020 Geneva conference on a nuclear-free Middle East.

Preparatory talks are underway in Geneva in preparation of the 2020 conference on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons. The meeting is held every five years.
In 2010 the signatories of the treaty adopted a resolution despite Israeli opposition calling for the convening of a conference on making the Middle East a nuclear-free zone. Israel is not a signatory to the treaty. Egypt has been seeking the adoption of resolutions in various international forums that would force talk regarding Israel’s nuclear arsenal.
In 2015, the Obama administration argued that disarmament could only be carried out through dialogue with Israel.
Israel claims that the issue of nuclear weapons cannot be divorced from their security issues.
The Trump administration has submitted two position papers to the Geneva preparatory committee that fully adopt Israel’s stand.
The Trump administration’s position paper states:
The Middle East region suffers from a persistent and well-documented lack of trust among the regional states, owing from decades of instability, armed conflict, and politically-motivated division. Efforts to build trust and confidence in the region are significantly complicated by the refusal of a number of regional states to recognize and engage Israel as a sovereign state and proclivity to instead pursue divisive actions to isolate Israel wherever possible. The lack of trust in the region is further exacerbated by a legacy of persistent and ongoing noncompliance in the region with [weapons of mass destruction]-related obligations.
This American responds to D.C speak with the following excerpts from “Heroes, Muses and the Saga of Mordechai Vanunu” published in 2015 stating:
This book is dedicated to the Iran Nuclear Deal with HOPE for the Israel Deal because “Every man, woman and child lives under a nuclear sword of Damocles, hanging by the slenderest of threads, capable of being cut at any moment by accident, or miscalculation, or by madness. The weapons of war must be abolished before they abolish us.”-John F. Kennedy

I sadly laugh at my naïveté of three years ago because the era of Trump has aligned and entwined America more tightly with militant nuclear ideology.
From “Heroes, Muses and the Saga of Mordechai Vanunu”
As a noun, muse refers to a person who is a source of artistic inspiration.
If you muse about something, you’re giving it serious thought and you may muse on certain ideas for years.
Jon Stewart is a muse and hero of mine because he introduced a myriad of important topics to American stoners and entertainment seekers by doing what The Media should be about: Seek and Report!
When I heard Jon Stewart say “Evil is relatively rare. Ignorance is epidemic and the cure for that is journalism and expression” my dream that Jon would address USA policies that collude in Israel’s nuclear deceptions began to feel less surreal and actually possible.
However on 21 July 2015, President Obama and Jon Stewart discussed the Iran Deal on The Daily Show but not a word was heard regarding Israel’s nuclear program…
HOWEVER, in April 2015, The National Security Archive of George Washington University published documents corroborating much of what Mordechai Vanunu has been saying for three decades.
The Mainstream Media still has not reported on these documents which detail the discovery of Israel’s nuclear deceptions, debates over Israel’s lack of candor and efforts to pressure the Israelis to answer key questions about the Dimona beginning during the Eisenhower years.
Excerpted from Document 18: Israel had By No Means Come Clean with Us
Under Secretary of State Merchant briefed Assistant Secretary Lewis Jones about an Operations Coordinating Board [OCB] discussion of the Israel nuclear problem where Allen Dulles had grumbled that Israel had “by no means come clean with us.”
The participants were also annoyed that the Development Loan Fund (DLF) had authorized a loan to Israel despite the OCB’s agreement that such action should be delayed.
Eisenhower’s national security assistant, Gordon Gray, emphasized that the president wanted further efforts to secure Israel’s agreement to IAEA inspections.
Such efforts, however, were not to reach the press…
