Palestine Strawberries from the Gaza Strip are ranked as being among the world’s best.
Every year, the Palestine Strawberry industry employs hundreds of farmers to harvest the strawberry crops to pick, package and ship the popular fruit to locations around the world.
Despite exporting restrictions imposed by Israel’s military occupation, which controls the flow of everything from product importing and product exporting to actual travel and also utility services such as water and electricity, Palestinians manage to export millions of strawberries every year, especially around the Christmas Season.
Despite Israel’s assault of Palestinian civilians — killing more than 2,200 during last summer’s Israeli atrocities and terrorism — the strawberry harvest season began late but is producing an abundance of strawberries that are earmarked for European cities. There were may delays in planting the product and many farmers lost anticipated revenues.
But Palestinians have become accustomed to Israel’s oppression and Israeli settler terrorism and continue to overcome Israel’s atrocities.
