On Friday Israel’s nuclear whistle blower, Vanunu Mordechai uploaded a Youtube without sound documenting his 12th return to Israel’s Supreme Court seeking to end the now 13 years of restrictions holding him in Israel, ever since his release from 18 years behind bars in 2004.
Vanunu was convicted of treason and espionage in 1986. What Vanunu did was to tell all he knew as a mid-level technician on the night shift and provide photographic proof from Top Secret locations within Israel’s nuclear facility at Dimona to London’s SUNDAY TIMES in 1985:

The video clip premiered on Israeli TV 2, but Vanunu did not speak to the Norwegian reporter, the only media that showed up.
Vanunu’s Attorney Avigdor Feldman spoke to the reporter in English:
Vanunu is a living death, a man who cannot leave the country who cannot speak to foreigners. A democratic country can in no way accept such a thing.
After over thirty years, it is not convincing to claim that he can cast secret information about Israel. They spent two hours on a parking bag and only ten minutes at Vanunu.
Vanunu is not a Norwegian citizen, but he is married to a Norwegian woman. It gives Norway a certain responsibility to help him out of Israel. I propose that Norway raise the matter with Israel through diplomatic channels…
