Israeli oppression overshadows Gaza observance of Ramadan
Palestinian Muslims who are observing Ramadan in the Gaza Strip must do so under the oppression and violence of Israel. Israel has cut off electricity, imposed a boycott on Palestinian products and services, and encircled the desert land mass with a choking military embargo. But Palestinians will prevail

Palestinian Muslims observed Ramadan under the harsh restrictions and oppression of the Government of Israel which continues to impose a repressive blockade that restricts everything from food to electricity.
The Israelis have even tightened restrictions on Gaza’s fishing industry, one of Gaza’s only economic industries to enhance suffering against the civilian population.
Yet, despite Israel’s terrorism and brutality, Palestinian manage to observe their daily lives and their religious beliefs, celebrating Ramadan under candle light and marking the daily Iftar with meager food offerings.
It’s a true sacrifice that Muslims throughout the World should honor.
