New Palestine Book by Ramsey Hanhan “Palestine Bleeds for You“, out June 9
Ramsey Hanhan’s new collection of poetry and essays on Gaza, “Palestine Bleeds For You” (Fomite Press, 2026) is scheduled for release on June 9.
“All we can do as writers, at a time like this, is to document and be our authentic selves; to bare our innermost feelings, and expose our wounds to a world that’s more indifferent than blind. In a world of automata, being human is revolutionary,” Hanhan said.
Ramsey is a Palestinian American author of two books, poetry, short stories, and essays.

Description, Palestine Bleeds For You
The shrieks of warplanes on their way to bomb Gaza provoked Ramsey Hanhan to write. This collection of poetry and essays plumbs the depths of human thought, religion, history, and culture in search of hope amid the world’s criminal silence. In an authentic Palestinian voice, Hanhan sketches the workings of the global machinery of oppression, revealing the centrality of Palestine’s liberation to decolonization, social justice, and environmental justice struggles around the world. “The book I never wanted to write.”
