Netanyahu’s “happy talk” campaign to destroy peace. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has done everything possible to destroy the peace process and prevent the establishment of a Palestinian State, but cleverly disguises his nation’s brutality with “happy talk” and disingenuous pleas for “peace.”

Benjamin Netanyahu is not idiot. But he is no advocate of peace. His “happy talk” rhetoric is intended to disguise his anti-peace policies and his government’s abuses of human and civil rights. But the worst of his sinister strategy is his flaunting at the United Nations of the friendships he has evolved with the Arab World’s dictators, tyrants and oppressors
After expanding illegal settlements in the Israeli occupied territories, Netanyahu hypocritically urged UN members states “to end their obsessive bias” against Israel expressed in “ritualistic resolutions” that he claims “condemns the Jewish State.”
Netanyahu spoke after Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas spoke. Abbas is a prisoner of Israel’s military occupation and Israel uses that to pressure and oppress Palestinians while claiming that somehow Abbas, who survives only because Israel allows him to exist, is the impediment to peace and the establishment of two-states.
If Israel really wanted to two-states, all they would have to do is withdraw their military soldiers from the occupied territories of the West Bank and East Jerusalem, and end its life-threatening embargo and imprisonment of the Gaza Strip.
Netanyahu’s attacks against the United Nations are so specious.
What the UN has tried to do, that Netanyahu is really complaining about, has been to approve resolutions that call on Israel to stop brutalizing Christian and Muslims civilians under its military occupation. The resolutions Netanyahu condemns are resolutions urging him to stop the racism and discrimination practiced by Israel both as a society and as a government. The Resolutions Netanyahu so easily disparages and anti-Arab groups like the American Jews Committee twists and distorts call on Israel to embrace the International Rule of Law and accept the right of Palestinians to statehood.

Instead, Israel has rejected peace in practice while offering empty words of peace in speeches.
But most offensive to everyone who cares about justice, morality and world peace is the fact that many of the members of the United Nations who presumably support the International Rule of Law have set aside morality and justice to pursue financial and technological and military relations with Israel, including many Arab countries.
You can’t blame non-Arab countries for being fooled by Israel’s expensive propaganda and its lies. But you have to wonder about the Arab World and especially the Islamic World which claims that it revers Jerusalem as a Holy City but stands by watching as Israel destroys the Christian and Muslim character of Jerusalem.
Maybe the Muslim World is waiting for Israel to destroy the Christian presence in Jerusalem before finally stepping up to the plate to confront Israel’s continued atrocities and apartheid?
“The biggest change in attitudes towards Israel is taking place in the Arab world,” Netanyahu bragged as he rubbed the faces of the struggle for freedom and Democracy in the Middle East into the dirt. “For the first time in my lifetime, countries in the region recognize that Israel is not their enemy but is their ally.”
Netanyahu said he supports a negotiated two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, but made no mention of his actual acts to thwart the two-state solution by confiscating lands from Christians and Muslims and expanding Jewish-only settlements in the areas that supposedly would constitute a 2nd state for Palestinians.
In reality, Netanyahu wants a second state, but not in Historic Palestine. He wants it in Jordan and he wishes the Christians and Muslims under his control would flee Israel.
“The road to peace runs through Jerusalem and Ramallah, and not through New York,” he said disingenuously asserting a reference to the Palestinian leadership’s efforts to convince the United Nations which created Israel to stand up and create Palestine, too.
“I am ready to begin negotiations today,” Netanyahu said mockingly of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas who has urged Israel to end the oppression and end the settlement expansion as true actions of peace. “I invite you to come and speak to the Israeli people at the Knesset in Jerusalem, and I would gladly speak at the Parliament in Ramallah.”
The truth is that neither Netanyahu nor his Knesset majority want to peacefully end the conflict with the Palestinians and those Arab leaders who have sold their souls for some Israeli shekels. Netanyahu’s goal is to remove all Christians and Muslims from Israel and from the occupied territories and the more time it takes the better for him.
Israel’s rightwing policy has been to use a slow but steady oppression of brutality killing Palestinians and hoping to push them out of the land of Historic Palestine. And although some Arab countries have crept into Israel’s bed like whores in the night, the world knows that Israel is the aggressor and peace will ONLY be achieved with Israel elects a new moderate leadership that recognizes Palestine as a State and accepts the rights of Christian and Muslim Palestinians to live free of Israel’s persecution.
Netanyahu hides behind the actions of the Ikhras States and tyrants that include of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, and Hezbollah and others would love to destroy Israel but not to save Palestinians. Their goal is to destroy Palestinian rights, too, and create an extremist religious ISIS Daesh nation.
Abbas and Palestinians want to live in peace. But they cannot do anything while they are oppressed by a military occupation, and while extremists in Israel like Netanyahu continue to build and expand settlements that are “Jewish only.”
Israelis must recognize the right of Palestine to exist as a sovereign state but the truth is, they refuse. That’s why Netanyahu, the extremist, is their leader.
Preventing peace is Netanyahu’s goal.
