Photo Array of Palestinians showing support for Freedom Flotilla. Palestinian children, who were targeted by Israeli soldiers during the Gaza War in the summer of 2014, carry signs and show support for the newest Freedom Flotilla seeking to break the oppressive blockade of the Gaza Strip. The Israel blockade prevents basic food and other essentials from entering Gaza. Israel has the Gaza Strip in a virtual outdoor prison, claiming falsely that they have “evacuated” the Gaza Strip 10 years ago in 2005.

By Mohammed Asad

Palestinians children hold placards and wave their national flag during a rally to show support for activists aboard a flotilla of boats who are soon to set sail for Gaza in a fresh bid to break Israel’s blockade of the territory, at the seaport of Gaza City on June 25, 2015.

The so-called “Freedom Flotilla III” is a convoy of ships carrying pro-Palestinian activists, at least one European lawmaker and an Arab-Israeli MP.

The goal is to try to reach the shores of the Gaza Strip by the end of the month and break the repressive Israeli blockade on Gaza which has prevented the rebuilding of the destruction caused by Israel’s unprovoked assault on Gaza’s civilian population in the summer of 2014.
