AHRC and ICD to Host a Government and Law Enforcement Community Job Fair on August 24:
The American Human Rights Council (AHRC-USA) and the Islamic Center of Detroit (ICD) invite all interested and qualified candidates who are seeking government job opportunities to attend the “Government & Law Enforcement Community Job-Fair” that will be held on Thursday, August 24, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
The job fair is free and open to the public. No pre-registration is required. The job fair is limited to those who are seeking job opportunities. It will be held at the Conference Room of the ICD located at 14350 Tireman Ave in Detroit.
This year’s one-day job-fair will be hosting several governmental and law enforcement agencies including: the US Attorney Office, Eastern District, US Army, Michigan Department of Corrections (MDOC), Michigan’s Department of State (SOS, Michigan State Police-Metro South Post and the US Department of State, Interim Diplomat in Residence, North Central Region; ATF-Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives, FBI-Human Resources Unit – Detroit Field Office, CBP- U.S. Customs and, Border Protection, and the US Secret Service, Detroit.
The Job Fair will also include: TSA-Transportation Security Administration, Michigan, US Border Patrol-Detroit Sector, US State Department, DHS-Homeland Security Investigations (HIS), DHS-ICE Enforcement Removal Operations (ERO), DHS-ICE, Office of Principal Legal Advisor, DEA-U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration- Detroit Field Division (MI|OH), Detroit Police Department, Troy Police Department, Canton Police Department, Human Resources Department, Canton Township, Dearborn Heights Police Department, Dearborn Fire Station, Inkster Police Department, Dearborn Police Department and more.
This job fair is a great opportunity for those who are eager to join these agencies. It’s an opportunity for new lawyers, new college graduates, and others to meet recruiters one to one and learn and explore possibilities.
