The Squad VS Ethnocracy by Trump and Tribe

The Squad refers to House Representatives Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., Ayanna Pressley, D-Mass. and llhan Omar, D-Minn.

An ethnocracy is the opposite of a democracy that arises when one particular group seizes control of the government in order to enforce a regime of privilege over a multi-ethnic or multi-religious society.

By Eileen Fleming

The Squad of progressive congresswomen involved in a war of words with Mr Trump accuse him of having a white nationalist agenda.

Mr Trump responded by calling them the real racists and amped up his attacks, saying they also now represent the face of the Democratic Party.

On Monday The Squad held a press conference to denounce the president’s twitter attacks which started the day before with Trump tweeting they should all go back to the “totally broken and crime infested places from which they came.”

The Squad are all elected congressional representatives and thus USA citizens.

Our divisive, misogynistic, xenophobic, climate-change-denying, hair lacquered, overly bronzed president’s twitter barrage against The Squad; denigrated and elevated their political standing!

The GOP has released a video trying to tie The Squad’s actions and words together to conclude that The Squad is pushing for anarchy.

Previously I explained: Anarchy is best understood as Rebellion against UNJUST laws. The Yang/male force of anarchy resists authority and causes disorder and is socially and politically incorrect by the norms of the status quo for it seeks the higher ground of justice. The Yin/feminine force of anarchy births a new order out of the chaos and chaos is creativity in action…

Rep. Ayanna Pressley explained Trump’s tweets are “a disruptive distraction from the issues of care, concern and consequence to the American people. Our squad is big. Our squad includes any person committed to building a more equitable and just world.”

After Trump’s Sunday twitter rage received global blowback he doubled, tripled and quadrupled down tweeting:

So sad to see the Democrats sticking up for people who speak so badly of our Country and who, in addition, hate Israel with a true and unbridled passion. Whenever confronted, they call their adversaries, including Nancy Pelosi, ‘RACIST.’ Their disgusting language … and the many terrible things they say about the United States must not be allowed to go unchallenged.

If Democrats want to unite around the foul language & racist hatred spewed from the mouths and actions of these very unpopular & unrepresentative Congresswomen, it will be interesting to see how it plays out. I can tell you that they have made Israel feel abandoned by the U.S.

When I hear the anti-Semitic language they use, when I hear the hatred they have for Israel and the love they have for enemies like al Qaeda, I do not believe this is good for the Democrat Party.

Trump also claims the Democratic Party had become “an anti-Jewish party.”

Some Jewish lawmakers have had enough according to TPM/TalkingPointsMemo.com that reported:

Rep. Dean Phillips (D-MN), whose district is adjacent to Omar’s, told TPM in an emailed statement Tuesday that ’employing anti-Semitism as a political weapon is as dangerous as anti-Semitism itself.’

Republicans, he said, ‘are cynically trying to deflect the truth and make this about anti-Semitism.’

‘I’m going to tip my hat to the Squad and urge everyone: don’t take the bait. Racism is racism, and using the Jewish people — another community that has long been a victim of prejudice — as a shield ties this whole situation into one of the most sickening knots I can remember’, Phillips added. [end TPM]

Another knot that will make US sicker if we persist to ignore reality was explained by Professor Jeff Halper in “An Israeli in Palestine: Resisting Dispossession, Redeeming Israel” who wrote on page 74:

An ethnocracy is the opposite of a democracy, although it might incorporate some elements of democracy such as universal citizenship and elections. It arises when one particular group-the Jews in Israel, the Russians in Russia, the Protestants in pre-1972 Northern Ireland, the whites in apartheid South Africa, the Shi’ite Muslims in Iran, the Malay in Malaysia and, if they had their way, the white Christian fundamentalists in the US-seize control of the government and armed forces in order to enforce a regime of exclusive privilege over other groups in what is in fact a multi-ethnic or multi-religious society. Ethnocracy, or ethno-nationalism, privileges ethnos over demos, whereby one’s ethnic affiliation, be it defined by race, descent, religion, language or national origin, takes precedence over citizenship in determining to whom a county actually ‘belongs.’

Ariel Sharon explained another knot requiring untying on 28 May 1993:

The terms ‘democracy’ or ‘democratic’ are totally absent from the Declaration of Independence. This is not an accident. The intention of Zionism was not to bring democracy, needless to say. It was solely motivated by the creation in Eretz-Isrel of a Jewish state belonging to all the Jewish people and to the Jewish people alone. This is why any Jew of the Diaspora has the right to immigrate to Israel and to become a citizen of Israel.

James William Fulbright was a United States Senator representing Arkansas [1945-1974] and the longest serving chairman in the history of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee who warned US:

The age of warrior kings and of warrior presidents has passed. The nuclear age calls for a different kind of leadership….a leadership of intellect, judgment, tolerance and rationality, a leadership committed to human values, to world peace, and to the improvement of the human condition. The attributes upon which we must draw are the human attributes of compassion and common sense, of intellect and creative imagination, and of empathy and understanding between cultures.

Our most forward thinking founding father Thomas Paine encouraged US:

Soon after I had published the pamphlet “Common Sense” [on Feb. 14, 1776] in America, I saw the exceeding probability that a revolution in the system of government would be followed by a revolution in the system of religion…The world is my country, all mankind are my brethren, and to do good is my religion…. We have it in our power to begin the world again.”

This non-Arab American prays Godspeed on The Squad and for God to have mercy on Mr Trump and his tribe.
