People for Gaza hosts fundraiser in Orland Park, Illinois Jan. 1, 2024

Organizers of “The People for Gaza” will hold a day-long entertainment, speaker and food festival on Monday, January 1, 2024 from 12 noon until 8 PM and will donate proceeds of their fundraiser towards Gaza relief.

Entertainers include guitarist and musician Ronnie Malley and recording artist Waheeb Nasan, among many others.

Organizers for “The People for Gaza” are using the PiousProject to host their fundraising efforts, an online Muslim American platform that allows contributors to donate to worthy causes around the world.

The organizers write, “These emergency funds will be used for medical support, food baskets, hot meals, water, family relief, and any other pressing matters seen fit by our on-ground teams. Your generosity can make all the difference to a family facing immeasurable hardship.”
