There are so few positive images of American Arabs on television but one stands out, Tarek El Moussa who with his wife, Christina, star in the popular HGTV series Flip or Flop, purchasing and remodeling homes in need of major repair

Most people buy and remodel maybe two or three of their own homes during their lifetime. It can be a hassle and a financial burden.

But Tarek and Christina El Moussa do it every week on their popular TV show Flip or Flop on HGTV, which broadcasts a variety of how-to shows with a focus on home improvement, gardening, craft and remodeling. Flip or Flop, which premiered in 2013, is one of the best.

Tarek, whose father is Moroccan, and his wife were real estate agents prior to the 2008 home market crash, but partnered with a friend to buy, rehab sell homes in need for a profit.

The couple was selling real estate in the southern California area when the housing market plummeted after the October 2008 stock market crash, they went from living in a $6,000 per month home to a $700 per month apartment.

Tarek and Christina El Moussa of the hit HGTV series Flip or Flop.

The genius of the show is that not only does it appeal to mainstream Americans who own homes and are constantly trying to assess both the value of their own properties but also ways to improve them, but it also educates consumers on home ownership maintenance.

I’m on my third home and have a summer home, too. And I am intrigued with costs of remodeling and improvement.

The one thing I have learned is the most important part of a home improvement is the main bathroom. You remodel a bathroom and turn it into something special, and the entire home value goes up.

The TV show may also have saved Tarek’s life. During the 2013 season, according to media reports, a nurse was watching the program and noticed symptoms that Tarek displayed of possible thyroid cancer. He immediately saw a doctor and has recovered.

Both Christina and Tarek have phenomenal personalities that are very likable. A key to a good so is controversy and tension, but most of the tension between this wonderful couple is in the decisions they make to purchase and remodel a home. Did they buy it low enough and can they re-sell it after investing their savings and funds into the homes.

Tarek and Christina married in 2009 and have two children, Taylor and Brayden.

The couple also host a training seminar under the name Success Path Education for the public, teaching strategies of real estate investment. Click here to get more info on Success Path Education.

Tarek makes me proud as an American Arab and someone who loves this country to see them both so engaged in the spirit of American life. The American Dream for most people is their home and the home is the base for their family.

Tarek and Christina have a wonderful family with two young children. Occasionally, Tarek’s mother appears on the programs, once as an investor in a major home renovation project.

Check it out when you can. And also “Like” their Facebook Page (click here). Their website is www.tarekandchristina.com.

Here is their website profile:

Tarek and Christina are not just stars of the new hit reality HGTV show, Flip or Flop. They are also professional Orange County real estate agents with over a decade of experience and countless transactions closed for buyers and sellers of Yorba Linda, Eastvale, Anaheim Hills homes, and much more.

Their Nationally recognized expertise in Orange County realty makes them the top choice when looking to sell a home in Orange County at a price sellers will truly profit from. With California real estate, design, and construction backgrounds, Tarek and Christina are able to inspect every aspect of your home and advise you on minor changes that may be needed to ensure your luxury North Orange County home stands out above the competition.

If you are looking to list an Orange County home for sale or buy a home in Orange County, working with Tarek and Christina will ensure your success in Yorba Linda, Kerrigan Ranch, Serrano Heights, Eastvale luxury homes, and much, much more.

Orange County foreclosures and luxury homes are a highly competitive market, but Tarek and Christina are a different breed. Meeting the needs of home buyers and sellers onscreen and off is something they take seriously, and their reputation for being timely, generous, and treating clients with compassion is what puts them head and shoulders above other Orange County real estate agents.
