Israel terrorizes Gaza civilians in air strikes as Ramadan ends

Israeli aircraft strafed civilian areas of the Gaza Strip Monday targeting civilian homes in a campaign that punishes and terrorizes Palestinians in response to the alleged firing of a rocket into Israel.

Although no damage was reported from the alleged missile fired from Gaza, the Israeli assault destroyed dozens of homes throughout the Northern Gaza Strip and in Gaza City.

The Israeli media twisted facts to claim the attacks were against “Hamas” targets but the targets were actually Palestinian civilians who had no links to the fired rocket. Israeli officials claimed Hamas was responsible asserting that Hamas claims the Gaza Strip, but the strip is controlled by Israel through a punishing embargo and constant military assault.

Palestinian officials said that there were no casualties in this raid, unlike past raids which sent dozens of men, women and children to the hospital.

Israel has been accused of intentionally targeting civilians in order to inflict the greatest pain and suffering as a form of government and societal revenge against any militant actions that target Israel regardless of the ineffectiveness of the Palestinian actions.

An unknown religious extremist group allegedly claimed credit for the rocket fire against Israel, but many Palestinians asserted that Israel fabricated the claim of a rocket attack in order to launch strikes against Muslim targets marking the end of the 30 days of Islamic religious fasting, Ramadan.
