The Arab Daily News articles picked up by many newspapers
The Arab Daily News American Arab online news and commentary site is proud that many of its articles are republished in Arab American, Muslim and also mainstream Western newspapers around the world.
Print Newspapers and online news sites have permission to republish articles and columns that are published in The Arab Daily News, which was founded in October 2013 to showcase original news, features and opinions that address the Arab community in the United States and its concerns and views about events in the Middle East.
The only requirement is that publications that republish the articles should reprint the articles as is, without any changes, edits or deletions, with the byline of the author and with a reference to the Arab Daily News online news website at www.TheArabDailyNews.com.
“Our readership continues to grow and reach more and more people, especially in the United States where more and more Americans want information in English on the Arab community and the Arab World,” said publisher Ray Hanania who has battled both extremists in the Arab community and anti-Arab and anti-Muslim racists in the mainstream American news media.
“We have a stable of talented writers who offer not only opinion but also perspectives and news on what’s happening in the American Arab community. In a community that has only a very few great newspapers like the Arab American News in Detroit, Al Madar in New Jersey, the Beirut Times which covers the community nationally, Almanbar in Florida, al-Watan in Illinois, and Al Mustaqbal in Chicagoland, the Arab Daily News stories are important and help fill a large void.”
Hanania said that The Arab Daily News fills in the gaps created by racism and bias in the mainstream American news media coverage of Arab Americans and American Muslims.
“The mainstream American news media is racist, biased and often outrageously inaccurate in their meager coverage of the Arab and Muslim community,” Hanania said.
“If there is racism in America, and if there is bias and hatred against Muslims, it is the mainstream American news media which fuels it, promotes it and brainwashes Americans. That’s why it is so important to share the views and opinions of our writers with the American public which is often ignorant and uneducated on the facts about the Middle East, Arabs and Muslims.”
The Arab Daily News also features photographs and stories from writers based not just in the United States but in Paris, France and in the Gaza Strip which continues to be under military assault by the Israeli military. Journalists include Abdennour Toumi, and Gaza photographers Mohammed Asad and Ahmad Hasaballah. Commentator Mike Ghouse offers personal perspectives on Islam and Muslims.
