Jon Stewart’s sixteen-year stint at The Daily Show ends on the 70th Anniversary of America’s Nuclear bombing of Hiroshima.

The still not free Mordechai Vanunu was kidnapped from Rome by Israel’s Mossad a few days before the British newspaper The Sunday Times ran a front page story under the headline: “Revealed: the secrets of Israel’s nuclear arsenal” on 5 October 1986.

The Sunday Times still possesses Vanunu’s two rolls of film snapped over a few harrowing hours in Top Secret locations within Israel’s seven-story underground WMD Facility at Dimona.

Vanunu never signed a contract with The Sunday Times and has told his story to hundreds; if not thousands of foreigners since released from behind bars on 21 April 2004.

Before Mossad clubbed, drugged, gagged, bound and transported Vanunu to Israel by boat; Nuclear Physicist Frank Barnaby, interviewed him for three days and testified at Vanunu’s closed-door trial:

I found Vanunu very straightforward about his motives for violating Israel’s secrecy laws he explained to me that he believed that both the Israeli and the world public had the right to know about the information he passed on. He seemed to me to be acting ideologically.

Israel’s political leaders have, he said, consistently lied about Israel’s nuclear-weapons programme and he found this unacceptable in a democracy. The knowledge that Vanunu had about Israel’s nuclear weapons, about the operations at Dimona, and about security at Dimona could not be of any use to anyone today. He left Dimona in October 1985.”

On 10 July 2015, Mordechai Vanunu wrote:

They spoke about the Iran Deal but not a word about Israel’s WMD.

However, President Obama expressed concerns over how easily The Media is “distracted by shiny objects” and “how hard it is to do an hour long documentary” that would arouse the attention of America to the important issues of our time.

President Obama asked, “how do we have a common conversation” about what matters?

Not being ‘The Media’ but being a media who has been documenting the saga of Mordechai Vanunu since 2005, and being convinced that what most endangers this homeland are USA policies of collusion in Israel’s nuclear deceptions and occupation of Palestine;

This book will be published because Israel’s Nuclear Whistle Blower is still not free to leave ‘the only democracy in the Middle East’.

In my third book, I wrote in reference to my first interview with Mordechai Vanunu: “THIS is why you should never meet your heroes; they can be jerks like anyone else!”

I began documenting the saga of Mordechai Vanunu, after meeting him in east Jerusalem fourteen months after his release from 18 years in a windowless tomb sized cell to 24/7 surveillance.

I wanted to know what kind’ve kid he had been to stand up to Big Brother and why he became a Christian.

Vanunu shared many stories about his childhood and Orthodox Zionist parents, conscription service, university activism for Palestinian human rights, how he endured 18 years in prison and a few crisis of faith.

Because I was also electronically present to Vanunu’s crisis of identity at the culmination of his historic and under reported freedom of speech trial, that history is also included in “BEYOND NUCLEAR: Mordechai Vanunu’s FREEDOM of SPEECH Trial and My Life as a Muckraker 2005-2010”

Heroes and Muses

A hero is a person who is admired for great or brave acts or fine qualities.

As a verb, to muse is to consider something thoughtfully with careful consideration and to exercise the mind or one’s power of reason in order to make inferences, decisions and arrive at a solution or discernment.

As a noun, muse refers to a person who is a source of artistic inspiration.

In mythology, the Muses were nine goddesses who symbolized the arts and sciences. The story goes that the Muses were the daughter of Zeus the God of the Sky and Mnemosyne the personification of memory.

If you muse about something, you’re giving it serious thought and you may muse on certain ideas for years.

Jon Stewart is a muse and hero of mine because he makes me laugh and has introduced a myriad of important topics to American stoners and entertainment seekers by doing what The Media should be about: Seek and Report!

When I heard Jon Stewart say “Evil is relatively rare. Ignorance is epidemic and the cure for that is journalism and expression” my dream that Jon would address USA policies that collude in Israel’s nuclear deceptions began to feel less surreal and actually possible.

Eight more shows before Jon Stewart departs as host of The Daily Show and with high hopes for Trevor Noah, my money is on Comedy Central reporting on Israel’s nuclear deceptions before The Media ever will!

On 15 July 2015, Prime Minister Prime Minister Netanyahu TWEETED:

The bad deal grants Iran 24 days notice before a site inspection. That’s as absurd as giving drug dealers a 24-day notice before a lab raid.

In June 2005, Mordechai Vanunu told me:

“When Johnson became president, he made an agreement with Israel that two senators would come every year to inspect. Before the senators would visit, the Israelis would build a wall to block the underground elevators and stairways. From 1963 to ’69, the senators came, but they never knew about the wall that hid the rest of the Dimona from them.”

It was Serendipity who crossed my path with Israel’s Nuclear Whistle Blower on 21 June 2005 and when Vanunu told me how Israel had deceived JFK and LBJ and Nixon set the precedent of ignoring Israel’s nukes, he became my muse and reason why I vowed to tell the Vanunu saga UNTIL Israel allows Mordecahi his right to leave Israel and pursue life, liberty and happiness.

On 19 May 2015, sixty-year old Vanunu wed for the first time and has petitioned Norway for an emergency passport and asylum.

On 8 July 2015, Vanunu wrote: Vanunu Mordechai is ready to leave israel for ever and ever,after 18 years prison+11years in east jerusalem.FreedomNow. Time come to start new Life,in Freedom.
