Delinda Hanley, the capable news editor of the must-read Washington Report on Middle East Affairs, will be recognized at ADC’s national convention next month in Washington DC for her tireless work to educate Americans and the public and the Middle East and issues such as the Israeli killing of Rachel Corrie.
The American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee (ADC) is proud to announce that Delinda Hanley of the Washington Report on Middle East Affairs will be the recipient of the 2015 “Rachel Corrie Award.”
The Rachel Corrie Award is an annual award given to a person who shows dedication and commitment to a just and lasting peace in Palestine. This year’s award will be given to Ms. Hanley in recognition of her commitment to reporting on Palestine in a fair and accurate manner.
ADC will present the award to Ms. Hanley at the Palestine Luncheon on Sunday, June 14, 2015, as part of ADC’s 35th Anniversary National Convention in Washington, DC.

About Delinda Hanley:
Delinda Hanley is the executive director, news editor and advertising director at the Washington Report on Middle East Affairs. Ms. Hanley writes extensively on Palestine, Tunisia, Saudi Arabia, Libya, as well as the emergence of the Muslim voice in Arab politics and fairness in the mainstream media.
Hanley is the daughter of Richard H. Curtiss, a co-founder of the Washington Report. She is also a former Peace Corps volunteer, who spent decades living in the Middle East.
