6 Palestinians killed by Israeli soldiers, 145 injured. Palestinian youth responded to gunfire provocations from Israeli soldiers along the border of the Gaza Strip near Shujaiya on the Palestinian side and south of Sderot, a hotbed of anti-Palestinian hatred, with their only weapon, rocks.

Palestinians in the Gaza Strip showed solidarity with Palestinians in the occupied West Bank and Occupied Jerusalem on Friday night (Oct. 9, 2015) facing off with heavily armed Israeli soldiers and snipers using only rocks.

Several Palestinians were killed and injured near Shujaiya, a village on the northern end of the Gaza Strip that had been targeted by the Israeli rampage through Gaza in 2014 which killed 2,200 Palestinians including nearly 500 children and teenagers. Hundreds of thousands of civilian homes were partially or completely destroyed by Israel in what Amnesty International and other international civil rights groups have called Israeli “war crimes.”

Maan News Agency reported that Six Palestinians were killed and 145 others injured as Israeli military forces opened fire at a demonstration by the border fence east of Gaza City and near Khan Younis on Friday, medics and the Ministry of Health said. The Gaza Ministry of Health said Shadi Hussam Dawla, 20, Ahmad al-Harbawi, 20, and Abed al-Wahidi, 20, were shot and killed east of the al-Shujaiyeh neighborhood.

Muhammad al-Raqeb, 15, and Ziad Nabil Sharaf, 20, were killed after being shot by Israeli forces near Khan Younis while Adnan Moussa Abu Elayyan, 22, was shot in the head and killed in the same area.

One hundred and forty-five other Palestinians were injured, according to a statement by the Ministry of Health, 10 of whom are in serious condition, spokesman for the Ministry of Health in Gaza Ashraf al-Qidra said.

But the Palestinians were not afraid to stand up to the Israeli soldiers who cover themselves in armor and use long-range automatic weapons, missiles and gas to strike at the civilians in the Gaza Strip which is being strangled by an Israeli controlled embargo that prevents reconstruction and turns off water and electricity supplies.

There are pictures of Palestinians gathering near the border confronting the Israeli oppressors and Israeli violence, defending themselves and refusing to be oppressed.

One of the Palestinian protestors was killed by Israeli gunfire who is from the al Wahidi family.

Palestinians have begun protesting Israeli violence throughout the West Bank and Jerusalem and Israel has responded with brutality ordering that individuals who throw stones can be shot and killed by soldiers and their armed settler extremists.

Here are photos of the Israeli soldiers with their automatic weapons and Palestinians with their stones near the border between Shujaiya and the Israeli settlements of Nahal Oz and Kfar Aza, south of Sderot:

What disgusts me more than these Israeli thugs and the “most immoral army” in the world is the attitude of the west. Assad has never committed the crimes against his own people that Israel and the US/Western complicity has committed against the Palestinians and yet because Israel is western friendly as is Saudi Arabia, we do nothing with regard their atrocities against humanity except to turn a convenient blind eye. US backed terrorists with the help of EU and Israeli shelling pound the Syrian peoples. Israel over the course of seventy years has forced nearly 6 million Palestinians to flee their homeland and now they are shelling Syrians in Aleppo and Damascus using barrel bombs and chemical weapons paid for by the US and transported by Turkey to the “moderate” terrorists. Israel is a rogue state who should be sanctioned by the west and all civilised countries but instead we do nothing. How does the west justify it’s support of the US regime changes and it’s defence of the ugly state of Israel? Since WW2 we have witnessed 4 holocausts: nearly a million Afghans fled to Iran from the US shelling, 5 million Syrians to neighbouring countries (except Israel and Saudi Arabia) because of US support of al Qaeda and Jabhat al Nusra and their shelling of Syria’s defences, 1.8 million Russian Ukrainian ethnics to Russia because of the US instigated coup of an elected but not Washington friendly leader and nearly 6 million Palestinians who fled to neighbouring countries because of Israel’s crimes against humanity again backed by military aid from the US of many billions of dollars each and every year. We have seen Iraq and Libya utterly destroyed by successive US & UK government led initiatives and we sided with the aggressors in Chechnya and Georgia when they were being massacred by US backed pro Washington regime changes imposed on them by the US. The US, Israel, Saudi and EU warmongerers have defied every code the UN has negotiated with impunity. The “civilised” world is morally bankrupt and guilty of Crimes Against Humanity and War Crimes many times over and yet we deem ourselves the best judges in what constitutes good governance? Take a step back and look at the crimes we have committed either by direct involvement, compliance or simply not condemning the conflicts and profess ourselves as fit to judge! For those who still would claim the moral high ground in justifying our deliberate interference and justification for the cost in human lives, get off your high horse, climb down from that pedestal you have placed yourself upon and take your place with all the other guilty “civilised” murderers. Susan O’Neill.

The biggest problem too is the mainstream American news media. They censor and block reporting that is “too critical” of Israel so stories and photos like this don’t get published. But I agree, we need to be more vocal in expressing our views everywhere including on Amazon’s Community discussions … I’ll check them out and share this story too. Thanks Steve

Most every day I post on Amazon’s Community discussions against an ongoing Israeli Hasbarah anti-Palestinian Zionist propaganda. I just never see Pals or Middle East Arabs posting on these internet sites that Americans are reading. Why is that? Why not bring the Palestinian Cause to Americans on their existing information venues, the Christian and Jewish religious forums? I’ve seen the power of the internet to counter political propaganda and Arab Middle Easterners should focus on getting their messages to Americans where our nation is the kingpin that holds Israel together against a rising tide of anti-Zionism.
