July 28, 2014: Mohammed Asad joins us from the Gaza Strip. Mohammed is a Palestinian professional photo-journalist who has photographed wars, news events, features and everyday people over the years. His photos of the recent Israeli war against the Palestinians have been shocking and eye-opening to help American see who the real war criminals are in the Middle East, Israel’s extremist government of Benjamin Netanyhu. Click here to view his photo essays.
June 4, 2014: It’s tough managing an online newspaper, especially when you have no money. But we do offer our writers the benefit of getting their stories out on Google News and being seen in the public, something that might not otherwise happen. Each writer is encouraged to express themselves and promote themselves and write as they are moved. We’ve added a few more bloggers; and Ali Younes has broken some big Middle East stories, such as the Raed Zeiter murder story and the interview with the family of the Palestinian American suicide bomber in Syria.
In March, April and May we saw our page visits skyrocket from 500,000 to more than 720,000 and we’re proud of that traffic. We are pushing to find strong advertisers so we can fund a higher profile marketing campaign to give our writers a strong platform where they can express their views, report on the stories of importance to them and maybe make a difference int his world. We thank all of them for their hard work.
If you are American Arab or American Muslim, a writer and want to blog about American Arabs and Muslims, we’d be happy to give you a strong platform to promote your efforts.

Jan. 17, 2014: We spent several weeks working the great people at WiziApp to develop an App for the Arab Daily News on Android Google Play and Apple, but unfortunately the App failed to work properly. It worked sometimes but most of the time it crashed. The techs at WiziApp were very helpful and supportive but they could not resolve the issues, so we had to delete the Android/Google Play App and disengage the Apple App (though it is still on the Apple App website). Currently, we have installed a more efficient web app, which means all you have to do is go to www.TheArabDailyNews.com on any Android, Apple or iPad device and it displays a very good and fast display of our latest postings (on the upper righthand corner is the display menu — click it and you will see a list of story categories to display or return to the HOME Page.) It works great.
Jan. 2, 2013: We are so proud to announce the addition of several writers including Abdennour Toumi who is based in France and covers Europe for us; Nijma Darwish, a columnist who writes for the very professional Al Sahafa Newspaper in Ohio; and Eileen Fleming who will provide insights and analysis on Palestinian and Middle East issues. Nafeh AbuNab of Greater Detroit contributes his amazing photographs from the American Arab community there. Ali Younes brings his professional journalism experience to the Arab Daily News as Editor specializing in the Middle East, Palestine and Jordan.
