Rashida Tlaib kicks off campaign for Congress, Detroit

Former Michigan legislator seeks to succeed Congressman John Conyers who represented Michigan’s 13th District since 2013. Conyers has served 52 years in office. He resigned from office in the wake of sexual harassment allegations in December 2017. The Democratic Primary election is August 7, 2018

Meeting every family, walking through all our neighborhoods on foot, and having real conversations is the heart of our historic campaign.  We have won in the past because of our grassroots effort to make sure it’s about the voters.

We’re not about to change that now.

Rashida Tlaib and family

We have an ambitious plan to reach every single voter of this district – going door to door, neighborhood to neighborhood, showing voters firsthand our work ethic and hands on approach to public service.  It is bold, but I know it can be done with incredible supporters like yourself.

So please join me on Saturday, March 24 to kick off our campaign with the people who will fuel it – our volunteers!

Come check out the campaign headquarters, get your official Rashida for Congress t-shirt, and be a part of our historic launch.
