Arab Radio: Peace won’t come through economy alone
Radio Talkshow Host Ray Hanania talks about how the plan to bolster the Palestinian economy through donors won’t bring peace, and he will examine the political collapse of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s recent election victory, on WNZK AM Radio in Detroit, Friday May 31, 2019 from 8 AM until 9 AM EST (Detroit time).
President Donald Trump and his pro-Israel Middle East adviser Jared Kushner and Jason Greenblatt will host a gathering of Arab donor nations in Bahrain June 25 and 26, 2019 in the hopes of laying the ofundation for what Trump calls “The Deal of the Century” for peace between Israelis and Palestinians.
But Trump has done everything to bolster Israel while undermining the Palestinians. The Bahrain summit will not fuel peace but will in fact undermine peace.
It’s already been tried and it failed, in the 1970s when former Terrorist and Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin and killer General Ariel Sharon provided money and political support to Sheik Ahmad Yassin and an Israeli system of “Village Leagues” that Yassin controled. Begin wanted to undermine the rising influence of the PLO and it’s chairman Yasser Arafat.
That was in 1977. A decade later, the Village Leagues became the foundation for the creation of militant Islamic organization Hamas, in Gaza, during the First Intifada. Hamas grew from the economic support it.
Hanania will also discuss the collapse of Benjamin Netanyahu’s political future as he faces certain indictment on three different corruption charges by the Israeli Attorney General.
