In order to understand Israeli history, it is imperative that we understand Palestinian history—and vice versa. This presentation will provide historical knowledge, nuance, empathy and the critical distance necessary for a meaningful discussion of both histories and of Israeli society today.

We will look to the upcoming elections on September 17th with a measure of historical perspective in order to understand this political moment, how we got here, and what the future holds for Israelis and Palestinians.
