Friends of DC Film Series on Gaza Sept. 28

The Friends of DC will feature an ongoing series of films addressing the Israeli occupation of Palestine, the longest military occupation in modern history.

The “Friends-DC” Film Series looks to raise awareness of the longest military occupation in modern history and its effect on the lives of the people living in the Holy Land — modern day Israel and Palestine — through film and discussion.  This series also hopes to examine US policies in the region and to focus on upcoming legislation that will have a direct impact on the future of both Israelis and Palestinians.
More details on the films can be found at www.voicesfromtheholyland.org and Facebook.com/voicesholyland.  More information on the work of the Friends Committee on National Legislation can be found at www.fcnl.org/action/quaker-welcome-center and at Facebook.com/quakerlobby.
