Hanania joins Beyond the Beltway Radio Sunday 6 pm May 21

Author and columnist Ray Hanania joins nationally syndicated radio talkshow host Bruce DuMont on his live radio show Beyond the Beltway this Sunday May 21, 2017 at 6 pm.

Beyond the Beltway with Bruce DuMont is a two hour nationally syndicated radio show, live online video stream and a weekly Chicago television show that takes America’s political pulse, and provides a fresh and balanced perspective of national politics.

Since June of 1980, Beyond the Beltway has provided a robust and free-spirited discussion of the major political issues of the day.

The national radio program is produced every Sunday night from 6 to 8pm (CT) at the studios of the Museum of Broadcast Communications in Chicago.Beyond the Beltway can be seen and heard LIVE right here each week! Join us live on the air by calling 1-800-723-8289

The radio show is LIVE and can be heard on Sirius XM Satellite Radio (POTUS Channel 124) as well as affiliates from coast-to-coast. A radio affiliates list can be found at beyondthebeltway.com — where the live video stream of the show also appears along with YOU TUBE.  Previous shows can be seen there as well.

At Midnight Sunday night the TV version of the show airs on WYCC-TV20/Chicago – and at 11pm Monday night the show runs on Comcast Channel 100. Comcast also runs the show at various times the following week.

It also airs on WIND (AM 560) at 11:00 PM Sunday night.

Ray Hanania is an award winning political columnist and author. He covered Chicago Politics and Chicago City Hall from 1976 through 1992. Hanania began writing in 1975 when he published The Middle Eastern Voice newspaper in Chicago (1975-1977). He later published “The National Arab American Times” newspaper which was distributed through 12,500 Middle East food stores in 48 American States (2004-2007).

Hanania writes weekly columns on Middle East and American Arab issues for the Arab News in Saudi Arabia at www.ArabNews.com, and for TheArabDailyNews.com, and TheDailyHookah.com.

Palestinian, American Arab and Christian, Hanania’s parents originate from Jerusalem and Bethlehem.

Hanania is the recipient of four (4) Chicago Headline Club “Peter Lisagor Awards” for Column writing. In November 2006, he was named “Best Ethnic American Columnist” by the New American Media;In 2009, he received the prestigious Sigma Delta Chi Award for Writing from the Society of Professional Journalists. He is the recipient of the MT Mehdi Courage in Journalism Award. Hanania has also received two (2) Chicago Stick-o-Type awards from the Chicago Newspaper Guild, and in 1990 was nominated by the Chicago Sun-Times for a Pulitzer Prize for his four-part series on the Palestinian Intifada.

His wife and son are Jewish and he performs standup comedy lampooning Arab-Jewish relations, advocating for peace based on non-violence, mutual recognition and Two-States.
