Readership soars at the Arab Daily News
By Ray Hanania
The Arab Daily News is unique in that its focus is news and features about American Arabs written by American Arabs. We are very proud of our mix of talented bloggers and writers who contribute columns and posts every week.
There are several great American Arab print publications out there, like The Beirut Times in Los Angeles, Almanbar Newspaper in Florida, Al Mustaqbal in Chicago, al-Sahafa in Ohio, The Forum Newspaper and the Chaldean Times in Detroit, and the Washington Report on Middle East Affairs in Washington D.C, among so many great publications. We are proud to stand among them as professional journalists.
The response to a professionally written American Arab newspaper has been very gratifying and we want to thank everyone for their support.
The website has huge visitor traffic. Statistics show that most visitors stay on the site and read two or three articles, not just one. It’s a phenomenal reflection on the talent of our contributors.
Last week, we hit a traffic high of more than 32,000 page reads from 13,560 unique visitors to the news website which only launched in December 2013.
This is an image of the site statistics captured at 12 noon CST (which represents only a half day of traffic to the website):
Here is the Statistics total from 6 PM CST (6 hours later)
That’s an average of 44,000 visitors each month
and 320,000 page views each month!
The popular stories continually change each day and the visitor numbers fluctuate, but clearly, they continue to rise steadily. It’s a reflection that the public appreciates good writing and unique stories. It’s a tribute to our writers, and to you, our readers.
