Israel’s Nuclear Whistleblower Vanunu message to Mossad and Obama
by Eileen Fleming
This April 21st marks 10 years since Mordechai Vanunu emerged from 18 years behind bars to 24/7 surveillance denied the right to leave ‘the only democracy in the Middle East’ because he told the truth and provided the photographic proof of Israel’s nuclear facility at Dimona in 1986.
Five stars for Frank Barnaby for enshrining the words of Israel’s nuclear whistle blower, Mordechai Vanunu in a book that should also be read by Israel’s SECURITY/Mossad/Shabbak who continue to claim Vanunu still has a ‘secret’ he didn’t tell Barnaby or the London Sunday Times 28 years ago! Free Vanunu 2014!
At the risk of a law suit from the Publisher for reproducing and publishing more than “brief quotations” from The Invisible Bomb: The Nuclear Arms Race in the Middle East without permission, I will do so because last week, Vanunu elaborated regarding “all the secrets” he knew about Israel’s nuclear weapons facility at Dimona.
Vanunu wrote, “the chapter about Dimona facilities, all these details need to be sent to Israel’s Shaback/Mossad and to President Obama and Congress to prove that all I knew about Israel’s nuclear secrets were published in 1989.”
On 2 October 2009, The Washington Times reported that President Obama agreed to keep Israel’s nukes ‘secret’ and he reaffirmed a 4-decade-old understanding that has allowed Israel to keep a nuclear arsenal without opening it to international inspections.
Three officials spoke on the condition that they not be named because they were discussing private conversations, but all said President Obama pledged to maintain the agreement when he first hosted Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House in May 2009.
Tell Obama to earn his Nobel PEACE Prize! END Israel’s Nuclear Deceptions! Call for Vanunu’s FREEDOM NOW!
